The organizers of the 38th edition of the Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) proudly announce Disney|ABC Television Group (Disney|ABC) as its esteemed Company of Distinction for the annual event, taking place June 11-14, 2017 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta.
The juggernaut media company Disney|ABC manages all of The Walt Disney Company’s, Disney and ABC-branded television properties, including ABC Television Network, ABC Studios, Disney Channels Worldwide and Freeform.
With an unprecedented line-up of senior executives set to attend, BANFF announces that as part of the Company of Distinction program it will feature keynote presentations from across Disney|ABC, including Channing Dungey, President, ABC Entertainment; Patrick Moran, President ABC Studios; Gary Marsh, President and Chief Creative Officer, Disney Channels Worldwide; and Tom Ascheim, President, Freeform.
As 2017’s prestigious Company of Distinction, Disney|ABC Executives, Showrunners and talent will be featured throughout BANFF. The Company of Distinction program began in 2013 with CBS Corporation, followed by Lionsgate Entertainment in 2014, A+E Networks in 2015 and HBO in 2016.
